In the early hours of the day, we are presented with a simple array of colour. Soothing blues and pale yellows. The seemingly unappealing landscape, seems to achieve particular excellence at the break of dawn. The movement is vital to carry this painting, as the colour alone would make a much too lethargic scene. The trees and their leaves provide us with that dynamic.
